Open Interaction Association is a non-profit organization registered in 2007 by Sofia City Court, conducts its business in public interest and in accordance with the provisions of the Law for Non-Profit.
Main activities of the Association are to develop and participate in projects, activities and initiatives for promoting forms of informal education and to create opportunities for social and creative skills for young people, youngsters with disabilities, from minority and disadvantaged backgrounds.
Develop and participate in civic projects and initiatives related to various forms of personal development, social adaptation and integration of disadvantaged people and youngsters, without age restrictions in all spheres of public life. Protecting the rights of access to information, participation of these people in public life, encourage and promote open communication between people regardless their health, social and public differences.
OIA realized many initiatives and projects aiming informal education of young people, their development and growth as European citizens and youth workers who give and popularize the youth democratic principles and norms.
The members of Open Interaction Association are various experts – professors from Sofia University, New Bulgarian University, social workers and psychologists, interpreters from and to sign language with extensive experience in national education and rehabilitation practices.
