Following the International Week a number of additional activities were undertaken in order to spread the results of the project. This document is part of the dissemination kit that we have given to all potential stakeholders: High school, Universities, young associations, municipalities, companies etc.
In Italy the dissemination of the project was widespread in all the province of the Region Lombardy. From one hand the project’s results were communicated through the communities plans for youth policy.
These plans involve networks of municipalities of Region Lombardy that have as a main goal the maximization of the best practice in the field of youth. Take the Field’ ideas and the process were presented to these networks of municipalities, especially in some areas of the Region: Milan, Rozzano, Pieve Emanuele, Rho, Como.
Last 25th June in Italy, the young people of take The Field have organized a big event “THE YOUNG SIDE OF THE FUTURE”, where youngsters launched an active and participatory debate on the issue of youth entrepreneurship and active citizenship involving also adults coming from university, companies, etc.
In July, Two take the field’s groups founded their association: Pi-The ideal space6 and Creative HeArts7. This two new associations represent not only a tangible result of the project, but they also have an important impact on the dissemination of the project. One of the member of Show your Talent started a tournée and published a book about the experience of artist in social field8. Two projects, Gym Tonic and International Pub, participated in a Fair in Barcelona about youth entrepreneurship and one of them, International Pub, won the prize for the best public presentation.
In addition to this, the group “Frequenze creative” has been involved in a training project of Politecnico of Milan, where students of design have been involved in the planning of initiatives addressed to the young people who will take part in Expo 2015. The students, thanks to the collaboration of the group Frequenze Creative were able to analyze the needs of the community of Rho. On the basis of this analysis students have thought up new ideas for the community of Rho and for Expo 2015 (bike sharing, hospitality of young foreigners, cultural exchange projects …) that Frequenze Creative has contributed to spread in the territory of Rho during the event “The young side of the future”. The collaboration with Politecnico will continue also next academic year 2014-2015.
Spain is making a dissemination of the project on local, national and international level, using its social networks that can reach the potential target group in quick and economic way. Spanish people have also organized a meeting sharing the “Ever Europe” Idea through the young and cultural association of La Coruña and its province.
On the 30rd June, young Portuguese people presented their ideas to some formal organizations, such as small enterprises, start-ups and spin-offs. This was the moment to share some of the most important results of the projects that Aveiro ́s Municipality reached with Aveiro Empreendedor project.
Joana, Rui, Inês and Vitória could explain how it was to be involved in an European Youth project, things they have learned during the International week and what were the most important aspects they need to consider in a entrepreneurial model, even at school or at professional challenge. This was a moment for the young people to understand issues related with the project financial and ideological sustainability.
After this João Silva, Leandro Santos and André Jesus, are studying at Aveiro ́s Profissional school. They’re studying The “Electric Installations” course and with SHIF&PlAY they gave some teachers the opportunity to learn how to recover some toys for children with special needs. In partnership with the Resource Centre TIC for Special Education headquartered at Escola Básica Integrada de Eixo – Portugal, the project SHIFT & PLAY held a “toy Workshop Adapted” for special education. This action took place at the premises of that school and counted with the presence of 15 professionals. At the workshop were demonstrated all the necessary procedures to adapt a “normal” toy the use/handling of young people with multi handicap. All those present had the opportunity to test skills acquired, effecting the necessary changes in toys that have brought for this purpose. At the same time the students involved in the project had the opportunity to offer to this student’s school, some toys adapted, culminating the work carried out over several weeks.
Beyond technical added value, this activity promoted in all the gifts, unique moments of personal and social development.
On 11th of July 2014, Romanian partner organized in Dragasani one conference with local organizations. They presented youth projects and their impact on the local community. The conference was attended by more than 50 people, representatives of the local authorities, teachers, students, youth workers and youth leaders.
The project coordinator of “Take the field” project, Mr Catalin Soare, had presented the objectives of the project, the activities undertaken before the international week in Monza and after, the group leader Ms Georgeta Mureanu, presented the activities held during the international week in Monza.
The participants in the international week presented the businesses ideas generated in the project.
Bulgaria is making a dissemination of the project on local and national level through the distribution of an information booklet of the project.
This dissemination action will continue in the next months with the constant adoption of the non–formal educational techniques by the partners of the project and with the promotion of the projects ideated by the young people who each organization is helping to implement.
