There should be an intependent EU’s media channel present in every country within the Union. It should produce popular as well as political content to attract attention of a significant part of each countries population. Its underlining purpose would be to fight the omnipresent lies, manipulations and misinterpretations of some local mainstream media. It should promote the democratic principles and communicate the current state of affairs within our Union.

Maybe a good way is to invest in European social media that is funded and developed by European institutions in public-civil participation. If there is a social media platform that can connect a pan-European audience, then you can have meaningful discussions in a forum-like manner. A platform intended and designed for civic-engagement, inquiry, debates, formation of (trans)national digital communities. A European social media platform designed specifically for civil society is the way forward to harness the power of the forefront of digital technologies and consumer technology. If we are to prepare the European Union for a digital future in this information age and this fourth industrial revolution. European Institutions must not let democracy and public dialogue take place in the marketsphere. But bring it back to the public sphere, and this time a digital one.
We cannot rely on foreign social media platforms that don't have the values of solidarity, engagement, understanding, education and dialogue among others at heart. Profit is and will always be at the heart of the current social media technologies, and therefore to a large extent determine its utility. Market based social media maybe smart, but Public-Civil based social media is wise. I'd choose wisdom over intelligence, the latter is being automatized anyway. But wisdom at the heart of E-democracy in social media technology design makes it something beyond profit and automatization; Human.

Schools need to provide more opportunities for students to obtain real-world skills that are representative to their jobs and everyday situations. This means curricula will create more room for students to fulfill internships, mentoring projects and collaboration projects. For example, students should be able to obtain their drivers licence and learn technical knowledge in machinery while studying.
